ThumbbreakYour thumb deserves a break.
Coming soon to Android

Your thumb deserves a break.

Thumbbreak counts every reel and short as you scroll, and steps in when you hit the limit you set.

Free at launch. One email when it's ready, nothing else.

Hi! I'll count your reels.

How it works

It counts. It warns. Then it stops you.

1

A live counter

A small counter sits over Reels and Shorts and goes up with every swipe. You always know how many you've watched.

2

A heads-up at your limit

At your daily limit you get a warning. Finish the reel on screen; the next swipe has a cost.

3

A real break

Keep scrolling and the app takes a break. So does your thumb.

Made for the way you scroll

Limits that count reels, not just minutes.

Screen-time apps see an hour on Instagram. Thumbbreak sees the 140 reels inside it.

Counts every reel

One swipe, one count. No guessing.

A thumb with feelings

It reacts as you scroll. You'll see.

Speaks your language

Hindi, Tamil, Bengali and many more.

Meet the thumb

It gets tired so you notice.

The thumb rides along on your counter and reacts to every reel. It has a few more faces than this one. You'll meet them if you scroll too much.

3 / 20

Fresh and happy to see you

Near your limit

You'll see

Past your limit

Best not to find out

Private by design

It can't see what it doesn't need to.

Thumbbreak only looks at the apps you choose to limit. Everything it counts stays on your phone.

  • Never reads your messages or what you type
  • Can't see banking or UPI apps
  • No account, no ads, no tracking
  • Your activity stays on your phone
Why we built it

Short videos never end. So we built the end.

Questions

Good to know

When does it launch, and what does it cost?

Thumbbreak is coming soon to Android, and it will be free at launch. Join the waitlist and we'll send one email the day it's on Google Play.

Why does it ask for Accessibility?

That's how Android lets an app know when Reels or Shorts are on screen. Thumbbreak uses it only inside the apps you pick, to count and to step in. It never reads messages or records anything.

Can I turn it off?

Yes, any time. You stay in control.
